How does your character react to seeing the hat? How do they feel when Professor McGonagall calls their name?

As Professor McGonagall called his name, a sense or calming flooded over him. He was finally being sorting. He walked confidently up to the stood where he would be sorted into one of the four houses and sat. He felt the hat slip over his head and it began to think what its choice would be...

"Books have pictures, books have words, what kind of book do you like to call yours?"

Brayden loves to read books that have information on different types of Magical Creatures. He also loves to read books on History of Magic.

"Say you enter a bookstore, and it is extremely crowded. The clerk is being harassed by a half a dozen different customers, while others are standing in a long checkout line that winds around throughout the store. It seems as if the clerk is the only one on duty. What would you do?"

Brayden stepped into Flourish and Blotts and let out a long sigh. The store was crowded and it seemed as there was only one person working. The check-out line was winding all the way around the bookshelves. He took a step behind the last person in line, irritable waiting to get checked out.

"How would you react if you were in a very large city for the first time, and suddenly, you became lost and separated from the people you came with?"

Brayden turned around, trying to find someone he knew. All the faces in this strange, unfamiliar city were unknown. He couldn't find his mother or his father. Brayden looked around pleadingly, trying to spot his mothers face, or his fathers. He felt alone, and slightly scared. He searched past every store, looking for them, but he didn't find them.

[[he would probably wander around until he found them. if he didn't, he would try to find some sort of lost and found place.]]

"Now it's a game in the same city. And you are competing against others for a very large prize. However, magic is not allowed and you are lost. What do you do?"

Wander around until he found his was to the finish line, or whatever he needed to do.

"If you were an animal, what would you be?"

Hedgehog, because they're small and spikey.

"Ah yes, and now what is your favorite color? And why?"

Orange, because I think it shows calmness, but at the same time, bravery.

"What do you believe is a true friend?"

Someone who is there for Brayden at all times. Not someone who is just your friend for your stuff. Someone whos trusts him and believes in him, someone thats like a sibling.

"Almost done. Once your work is over, what do you do to play?"

After classes are over, you'd probably find Brayden in the Great Hall, getting a snack, or roaming around the castle.

"Success is important and highly recognized. Is it because of who you know? Or do you become successful because you are talented?"

Its because he is talented. He doesn't cheat, and get answer from someone else, or by hanging with someone whos popular.

"Blood of brothers, blood of others, are they the same to you?"

Nope, it doesn't matter what type of blood someone has. It all depends on their personality.

"I see. What type of magic are you most interested in?"

Probably History of Magic, and Astronomy.

"And lastly, what house would you not like to be in?"

Hufflepuff.
